 Bridget Ansell

and the
Ashburton Singers
The Ashburton Singers were founded in 1975 and have performed major concerts in the magnificent surroundings of Buckfast Abbey, and at many wonderful venues throughout South Devon. The choir has also visited France several times performing in various venues. See the choir's 'What have we done' page for information about recent concerts. The choir does a Summer and a Christmas concert and performs at weddings.

The policy of the choir, expressed in its constitution, is to further the appreciation of music by presenting concerts etc., and to take good music to the audiences, rather than expecting them necessarily to attend formal concerts. In recent years the singers have held 'Summer Tours' of local village churches and other venues including the Camphill Community and senior citizen's facilities and Channingswood prison.
